In 2013, Lewis Adams graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. Furthermore, he received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2015 which he also obtained from UNCP.

While in graduate school, Lewis was able to garner the honor of UNCP's MBA Student of the Year and the Social Entrepreneurship Conference Business Plan Challenge for UNCP. After obtaining his MBA, Lewis began lecturing for UNCP's School of Business in the fields of Management and Marketing and continue to do so today. In 2020, he received a Certificate for Online Teaching Excellence through UNCP's Office of Online Learning.
