Winter Weather

University officials are closely monitoring weather forecasts for potential snow and ice in our area. Based on the forecasted potential for winter weather conditions, the university will transition to a Condition 1—Reduced Operations status at 3 p.m., Friday, Jan. 10, 2025.

University administrators will continue to evaluate the situation and should forecasts change, we will adjust our condition status. All university updates will be posted to uncp.edu/weather.

Normal operations are scheduled to resume at noon on Saturday, Jan. 11.
