Math Placement
To begin your career at UNCP, an initial step is that all students participate in taking the Mathematics Placement Test. This Test is NOT for a grade, but simply to see what the best initial College Mathematics Course is for you. Math Placement is required for all students. Within one week of you registering for orientation, you will receive an invite to a Canvas course with additional information and instructions on how to complete the test. Please make sure you are checking your BraveMail account regularly.
For questions about Math Placement please contact the Center for Student Success at css@uncp.edu.
After your Orientation session you are required to complete the Post-Orientation items on the New Student Checklist.
