SUMMER HOUSING 2025
- Housing & Residence Life offers housing for all summer sessions and for various summer camps and programs.
- At this time, students enrolled for Maymester will remain in the room they are currently residing in; however, Housing reserves the right to relocate Maymester students to other locations if required. At the conclusion of Maymester, students enrolled for Summer Session I will need to move to their summer assignment.
- Housing for Summer Sessions I and II will be in Courtyard Apartments.
- Students must complete a housing agreement for each summer session they are attending.
- Housing Rates for 2025-2026 are posted here
Current students will complete an application for each session of summer housing by accessing the Housing Application through Braveweb.
Maymester
- Sign-up: April 1-May 9
Summer Session I
- Sign-up: April 1 - May 23 at noon. Assignments will be sent to your BraveMail account beginning the week of May 19.
- Move-In: Monday, May 26, 2025, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Pick up your key from the Courtyard community building.
- Move-Out: Saturday, June 28 by 5 p.m.
Summer Session II
- Sign-up: April 1-July 3 at noon. Assignments will be sent to your Bravemail account beginning the week of June 16.
- Move-In: Sunday, July 6, 2023 from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Pick up your key from the Courtyard community building.
- Move-Out: Saturday, August 9 by 5 p.m.
Important Move-Out Details
The housekeeping and maintenance staff have a short period of time to have rooms ready for the fall semester, so failure to follow the procedures below may result in additional charges.
Charges will be divided among all occupants of the room or suite/apartment unless one resident accepts responsibility. In addition, the last resident to check out of the room/apartment will be responsible for all damages or missing items not already accounted for. Please communicate with your roommate(s) concerning any pending damages. Decide on responsibility now, or be present at the checkout of your roommates.
Check-list for Check Out/Room Cleaning:
This checklist is provided to make your checkout as smooth as possible. By following this list, it may help you avoid unnecessary charges for cleaning and damages.
- Remove all personal belongings from the room!
- Remove all posters, decals, tape, poster putty, from doors, walls and mirrors
- Clean closets, cabinets.
- Dust shelves, etc.
- Clean windows and window sills, and mirrors
- Dust furniture including desk tops, dressers, shelves, and countertops
- Clean and wipe out drawers in desk and dresser
- Return all furniture to its original position
- Sweep/mop/vacuum floor throughout room or apartment
- Take out all trash, (please take to dumpster)
- Empty and clean all kitchen appliances and counter tops, clean bathrooms, living room, and sun room
Once you have completed all of the above items, you are ready for check-out! See your RA or Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) for further instructions.
Note: Your room has to be in the same clean condition as it was when you moved in. If your room is not clean, you will be assessed a fee! Dispose of unwanted furniture and/or carpet in the dumpsters. If possible, please attempt to reuse or donate unwanted items.
