Student clubs and organizations can advertise activities and events in the Student Center mall. The Student Center receives approximately 4,000 visits each day. The SC mall is a great place to advertise your next event with the appeal and impact that creates interest and promotes maximum participation.

Student Center Poster Signs
The James B. Chavis Student Center office supports student organizations and campus departments with fixed display options for large poster signs. Large posters get the attention and clearly display the message you desire. Choose an option that works best for you – Glass Displays Cases or 3 Tier Display Stands. Announce and advertise your next event, activity or program at the Chavis Student Center and get the attention your desire.
Flyer Guidance
- Format/Size: Prepare your FLYER in a PDF or JPG format (Portrait or Landscape).
- 8.5″ x 11″
- 11″ x 14″
- Submit: Hard Copy or Email.
- Bring your printed flyer to the Student Center office in SC 234 (2nd floor).
- Electronic files may be submitted by email at uc@uncp.edu. Attach your file in JPG or PDF format only.
- Review: SC staff will review advertisement requests and post all approve ads/posters.

- Format/Size: Prepare your poster advertisement in a 22″ x 28″ PDF or JPG format (Portrait style only).
- Submit: Hard Copy or Email.

Digital Signs
Digital Sign (Monitor) Advertising
Advertise your event on the monitor displays throughout the Student Center. Take advantage of the power of digital media to advertise and promote your next event. Anytime. Anywhere.
The Digital Announcement (DA) service is available to affiliated student organizations and university departments. The James B. Chavis Student Center office maintains and manages all digital signage for the Chavis Student Center properties. The DA service at no charge to organizations affiliated with the UNCP campus community.
The DA service is primarily intended to inform SC patrons of events and activities held in the Chavis Student Center or promote campus events sponsored by the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. It also offers opportunity for UNC Pembroke officially recognized student organizations and campus departments to broadcast events or announcements in the Student Center. Events or announcements must be of student interest or student-oriented in nature, support the mission of the University and must be open to the public or a broad segment of the campus community.
