About
Christine Bell brings a wealth of experience across diverse industries, including healthcare, hospitality, banking, and higher education. Her professional background spans Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and government agencies, equipping her with the practical insights and real-life examples she aims to share with students to enhance their understanding of management.
Christine holds an undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Business from East Carolina University and an MBA from Coastal Carolina University. Before joining the faculty at UNCP, she began her career in the hospitality industry as a Catering Director and Food Service Manager with ARAMARK at Coastal Carolina University. During her MBA program, Christine interned at Citigroup, where she worked with a team to develop banking products for high-net-worth individuals in Latin America. Following this, she returned briefly to the hospitality industry before joining UNC Pembroke.
For the past 14 years, Christine has been a dedicated member of the UNC Pembroke community. She has served as the Associate Director of Admissions, a key management role, and has transitioned to the School of Business as the Executive in Residence for Internships and MBA Director, before starting in The Graduate School as Assistant Dean. Christine is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Business Administration at UNC Greensboro.
