Since graduating from the Korean National University of Arts and earning masters and doctoral degrees at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, pianist Jae Won Kim has rapidly created a niche as a soloist and chamber musician. A first prize-winner or laureate of many international piano competitions, she has performed around the world with musicians from prestigious organizations like the Metropolitan Opera, Pittsburgh Symphony and Cincinnati Symphony. A recent highlight was a performance in Luxembourg sponsored by the Korean Embassy. Dr. Kim currently teaches at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
