Swan Lake, performed by Dance Alive National Ballet, brings to life brings the classic Tchaikovsky composition with an award-winning cast of international dancers.
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s composition tells the love story of Prince Siegfried, who on a hunting trip encounters a flock of swans, falls in love with the Odette, a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse, and swears his allegiance and undying love for her. As a result of a curse by the evil sorcerer Baron von Rothbart, Odette can only take human form between midnight and daybreak.
