Come out and enjoy the time-honored tradition of showcasing our school pride through the streets of Pembroke and through the campus of UNCP. All are welcomed to participate and spectate at this year’s BraveNation Homecoming Parade, which features alumni, faculty, staff, Greek Life organizations, our dynamic marching band, the 1887 Society, and local Lumbee, regional, and state royalty.

Alumni Awards and Hall of Fame Ceremony

The UNC Pembroke Alumni Association presents several distinguished awards each year to alumni who have shown exceptional dedication to and support of the university. Additionally, the University of North Carolina at Pembroke Athletics Hall of Fame is to honor those former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and teams who have demonstrated exceptional athletic achievements and strength of character, in representing UNC Pembroke in the various areas of athletic performance, coaching and/or administration.

Location: Givens Performing Arts Center
Born and raised in Fayetteville, N.C., Tim Shropshire is the bearded, country, family man everyone has grown to love. Raised in "old school" church culture, Tim is one of the most hilarious "church kids" turned internet sensation. He has appeared in venues around the country, including The Comedy Zone.
