Facility Liaison roles and responsibilities:
The liaisons serve as the central point of contact for day-to-day maintenance services of university facilities, and function as the liaison between building occupants and the facilities team. Some of your responsibilities include:
- Reporting facility failures and/or maintenance issues by initiating a work order or calling facilities directly at (910) 521-6233 https://www.uncp.edu/resources/facilities-management/facilities-operations-maintenance/how-do-i
- Ensuring building occupants are aware of both planned and unplanned work being performed in the building.
- Act as the contact person for Facilities Maintenance staff responding to a maintenance request.
- Serving as the primary point of contact in the event of an emergency in a building during working hours.
- Conduct periodic walk-thru of the building and report issues to Facilities Management.
- Serve as point of contact for building safety reports.
