The University of North Carolina at Pembroke's Operations & Maintenance mission is to provide support services to the University community. We believe that the means to personalized education is inherent in the physical spaces we provide for learning. Some of the characteristics that create an atmosphere that facilitates campus and community activities are: cleanliness, attractiveness, comfort, accessibility, safety and systematically arranged spaces.
The ultimate goal of Operations & Maintenance will be to condition our facilities through inspection and audit programs, design new and renovated facilities for low-cost life-cycle maintenance, assign the highest priorities to the most serious conditions, and utilize all funding sources as good stewards.
