Global Engagement
At UNC Pembroke, the Office of Global Engagement (OGE) opens the door to exciting global opportunities. Whether studying abroad or improving your English, OGE offers support to help you connect, grow and succeed. Explore our international program opportunities.
Your Gateway to Global Learning

International Students
From admissions to graduation, we’re here for you. We’ll guide you through F-1 or J-1 visa processes, help with orientation and offer resources for academic success. Plus, we encourage cultural engagement to make your experience at UNCP enriching and memorable.

English Language Institute (ELI)
Improve your English and prepare for academic success at ELI. With small class sizes and caring instructors, you’ll feel supported as you strengthen your language skills.

Global Research/Faculty Scholar
We welcome scholars from around the world for teaching and research opportunities. Once accepted by a department, OGE helps with immigration requirements, allowing you to focus on teaching and research at UNCP.
