About the Gallery
The A.D. Gallery at UNC Pembroke began in the 1970s when faculty transformed a faculty
lounge into a dedicated exhibition space. It served the art department for over 30
years. In 2005, the gallery was expanded to a new 960-square-foot facility. This new
facility features a skylight and space for large-format pieces. We invite you to explore
this inspiring space and discover what makes the UNCP art gallery truly unique.

The A.D. Gallery at UNC Pembroke is pleased to announce its 2025–2026 Winter Exhibition, Wanda Sullivan: Cultivated, a vibrant and contemplative body of work by painter and educator Wanda Sullivan. The A.D. Gallery at UNC Pembroke is accepting submissions for its 15th Annual International Juried Exhibition, “Belonging,” on view February 12 through March 6, 2026. Nationally acclaimed Haliwa-Saponi potter Senora Lynch, whose work blends traditional techniques with powerful storytelling, will be the featured artist in UNC Pembroke’s Eighth Biennial Native American Art Exhibition, on view Sept. 18 through Oct. 16 at the A.D. Gallery.
