Sometimes the hardest part is knowing where to start. CAPS offers free, confidential mental health services to all currently enrolled UNCP students — including individual counseling, group therapy, medication management, crisis support and prevention education. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed or facing something more urgent, CAPS meets you where you are, with same-day crisis consults available and a 24/7 crisis line through Protocall at 910.775.4749 . Walk-in triage appointments are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with no appointment necessary.

Your health doesn't take a back seat at UNCP. The Brave Health Center offers a range of services to keep you feeling your best, from routine medical care and immunizations to wellness programs, insurance support and after-hours nurse triage. Open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 24/7 nurse triage line available at 1.888.267.3675 for when you need help outside of office hours.

The Braves Resource Center supports all enrolled UNCP students with food assistance through the on-campus pantry, emergency financial aid, one-on-one case management and connections to housing, healthcare and other essential services. The CARE (Consultation, Advocacy, Resources and Education) Team is a group of campus experts dedicated to helping students navigate personal, academic and behavioral challenges. Students, faculty, staff and family members can submit a referral — anonymously if preferred — and the team will connect the student with the right support and resources. Report a Concern

Report a concern, safety issue or campus incident using the appropriate reporting form below. If there is an emergency that involves imminent risk of harm to self or others, please contact UNCP Police and Public Safety at 910.521.6235 or by dialing 911 prior to submitting any online form.

Submit a CARE Report if you are concerned about a student's well-being, health, or personal circumstances. This may include situations involving mental health concerns, significant distress, basic needs challenges, or other issues that may be affecting a student's ability to succeed. CARE reports help connect students with support resources and outreach from the university.

Use this form to report sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, dating or domestic violence, stalking, or other conduct prohibited under Title IX. Reports may be submitted by individuals who have experienced misconduct or by someone reporting on behalf of another person. The Title IX Office will review the report and provide information about available support resources and reporting options.

Use this form to report possible or suspected violations of the Code of Student Conduct, including behavioral misconduct, hazing concerns, disruptive behavior, or other incidents involving students that may require review by the Student Conduct office. This form should be used for situations where a student's actions may violate university policies or otherwise adversely impact the campus community.
