Early College Requirements (North Carolina Cooperative Innovative High School Applicant)

A student who graduated from a cooperative innovative high school program with an associate degree and who applies for admission to the constituent institution has the option of being considered for admission as a freshman or as a transfer student. Students who select to be reviewed as transfer applicants must adhere to particular transfer requirements ( House Bill 97 Section 11.16.(a) ). Applicants who choose to apply as freshmen are eligible to be considered for:

• Merit Based Scholarships
• Esther G. Maynor Honors College
• Distinguished Scholars Program
• Access to First-Year Experience Programs provided by University College
• Designated Freshman Housing

As a North Carolina resident you can Use the CFNC portal to submit your UNCP application easily and confidently — from planning and applying to managing your progress and sending transcripts. Just create a free CFNC account — or log in if you already have one — then select UNC Pembroke to get started.

Common App

Apply to UNC Pembroke seamlessly through the Common Application — just create an account, choose UNCP as your institution and complete the required sections. This streamlined process gives you one central platform to submit your application, check status updates and manage your next steps with ease.
