Early College Requirements (North Carolina Cooperative Innovative High School Applicant)
A student who graduated from a cooperative innovative high school program with an
associate
degree and who applies for admission to the constituent institution has the option
of being
considered for admission as a freshman or as a transfer student. Students who select
to be
reviewed as transfer applicants must adhere to particular transfer requirements (
House Bill 97 Section 11.16.(a)
). Applicants who choose to apply as freshmen are eligible to be considered for:
- Merit Based Scholarships
- Esther G. Maynor Honors College
- Distinguished Scholars Program
- Access to First-Year Experience Programs provided by University College
- Designated Freshman Housing
